A wedding with a little Hollywood magic at Edinburgh’s Prestonfield House, Scotland
This is how they do things when Hollywood meets Scotland in Edinburgh’s Prestonfield House for the wedding of the year. Traditional tweed kilts in a Scottish hunting tartan versus the bride’s beautifully flowing wedding dress.
As you’d expect from any LA showbiz couple, there were a few cinematic influences to the photography, not least from Wes Andersson during the group shots with our direct rip off of The Royal Tenenbaum’s poster.
Prestonfield House cleared the Tapestry Room of furniture for the first time ever to create a spectacular and lush setting for the wedding ceremony before couple’s photography half way up Edinburgh’s Arthur’s Seat (with a little help from the hotel’s Range Rover).
Check out the amazing colours in the wedding flowers by Jack Fleuriste, the genius Edinburgh florist, and homely sweet treats by Mimi’s Bakehouse (well worth stopping by their shop if you’re passing through Leith or Edinburgh’s old town).
This was hot on the heels of Jenni & Stuart’s engagement photography the day before which you can take a look at by clicking the link.
What’s not to love? This wedding is looking like remaining one of my favourite set of photographs for years to come.
