I am Paul Raeburn and I am a wedding photographer based in Edinburgh, working around Scotland, Europe and the rest of the world.
So, what do you need to know about me? I’ve spoken about how I believe the best wedding photography happens when we focus on you and forget about me, but here’s a little peek into my world…
I love telling stories by finding, rather than creating, great photographs. I’m moved by little details as well as the big picture, and inspired by great light and textures (which is why I love working in Scotland).
I’ve been a full time professional photographer all my adult life, can’t imagine doing anything else, and feel blessed that this is what I get to do for a living.
But maybe you didn’t want to know about me at all, and were just looking for some more practical details. I can help there too…
I’m based in a studio just off the Royal Mile in the historic old town of Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh –

I photograph weddings not just in and around Edinburgh, but throughout Scotland and the UK, as well as destination weddings in Europe and the rest of the world.

One of my favourite things to do is an engagement or couple’s photo session which can be a great excuse to get creative with our locations and style. Whether it’s good practice for the wedding day, a reminder of a holiday, or simply about time you had some decent photographs of the two of you together, I’d love to hear what you’ve got in mind.
